Travel
Departure
During the check-in at the Frankfurt airport, they had asked whether he would like to collect the luggage in Chennai or in Delhi. Since the final destination is Chennai, he had accepted to collect it in Chennai.
Transit
Reached the Delhi airport and there was nothing asked. He had transferred to the domestic terminal to catch the flight to Chennai. Waiting at the Delhi airport was a bit long for 8 Hours. After that took the flight from Delhi to Chennai.
Arrival
Arrived at the Chennai airport and collected the baggage until then nothing was asked. While heading towards the exit there were two policemen who had enquired about the Covid Test result. They took the hard copy of covid test report and asked about my Tamilnadu E-Pass (TN E-pass) and Air Suvidha – Exemption approval.
Even if the Exception approval is pending, they let us go if we have a covid negative test report.
Hope this Information will be Useful. To be in Short “Travelling to India via Air India is comparatively easier nowadays with a Negative Covid Test Report“.
